The exhibition "The 20th century in Bordighera: from Europe to America - Chronicles" aims to recount a unique period for art and culture in the post-World War II era.
Under the guidance of Giuseppe Balbo, events such as the Exhibitions of American Painting and the Cinque Bettole were born, which brought Bordighera to renew its international artistic vocation.
In this exhibition, 11 American artists, together with the painters of Bordighera from that period, display their works from April 13th to May 7th, at the former Anglican Church, hosting chamber music concerts on Sunday afternoons.Press reviews from 1948 to 1951 are also featured.
