Note d'estate - Concert by Banda Borghetto San Nicolò
The Note d'estate festival presents a new event featuring the Banda Musicale Borghetto San Nicolò – Città di Bordighera. On 6 August at 9.00 pm, the band will perform the concert The Queen Who Chose Bordighera, dedicated to Queen Margherita, at the Former Anglican Church at the Giardini Lowe.
The event combines the tradition of the town band with a repertoire designed to showcase the richness and variety of music for wind orchestra, featuring classical and contemporary pieces alongside powerful arrangements.
During the evening, Gisella Merello, author of the book La Regina Margherita a Bordighera (Erga Edizioni), will take the audience on a journey through history, anecdotes and interesting facts about the first Queen of Italy.
An evening dedicated to music and shared enjoyment in one of the city's most charming settings.
Change of venue
- The concert, originally scheduled to take place at the Former Anglican Church, has been moved to the Giardini Lowe for organisational reasons.
- Following the change of venue, the reservation previously made is no longer required. Admission to the Giardini Lowe will be free.
