Summer in Winter - L’Italia s’è desta

On Saturday 11 July 2026, the Giardini Winter in Bordighera will host “L’Italia s’è desta”, a theatrical performance by Compagnia Ragli starring Dalila Cozzolino, written and directed by Rosario Mastrota.

The story follows Carletta, a woman living in a small town in Calabria where nobody listens to her. After witnessing the kidnapping of the Italian national football team’s bus, she tries unsuccessfully to reveal the truth.

Between irony and social reflection, the performance explores themes of listening, media and marginalization.
