The Night of the Total Lunar Eclipse

On Sunday, September 7, the Stellaria association invites the public to the Rotonda di Sant’Ampelio in Bordighera for an evening of astronomical observation dedicated to the total lunar eclipse.

A rare phenomenon during which the Earth’s shadow will gradually obscure the lunar disk, offering a fascinating play of light and shadow. On this occasion, the Moon will rise already eclipsed, visible among the last lights of the day. The event can be observed with the naked eye and through telescopes provided by Stellaria.

Participation is free and does not require reservation.

In case of unfavorable weather conditions, the observation will not take place.
