Patron Saint Celebrations of Sant’Ampelio

From 14 to 17 May 2026, Bordighera renews its traditional Patron Saint celebrations dedicated to Sant’Ampelio. Four days of tradition, local flavours, music and the much-awaited fireworks display over the sea.

Wednesday 14 May – Patron Saint Festival

9.45 am – Società Mutuo Soccorso Pescatori
Announcement of the Parmurelu d’Oru 2026 award recipient
11.00 am – Parish Church of S. Maria Maddalena
Pontifical Mass celebrated by the Bishop
4.30 pm – Departure from the Parish Church of S. Maria Maddalena
Procession through the town streets and blessing of the city
7.00 pm – Spianata del Capo
Food and music evening
10.00 pm – Capo Ampelio
Fireworks display over the sea

Thursday 15, Friday 16 and Saturday 17 May

The celebrations continue with three evenings of food and music at Spianata del Capo, starting from 7.00 pm.
