Il Bosco del re

An original musical fairy tale designed to enchant the little ones: The King's Forest is a band performance that combines music and storytelling, engaging primary school children in an educational journey through fantasy and nature.

The protagonist of the story is Gian, a curious boy and nature lover, who meets special creatures along the way such as the Solitary Cuckoo, the Vain Hoopoe, and King Wren. Each encounter becomes a moment of personal growth, to learn the value of friendship, respect, and balance in the environment around us.

The project combines music and education: the musical compositions are by Leo Capezzuto and published by Scomegna Edizioni Musicali, while the texts and educational activities are by Luca Anghinoni. The performance is by the Banda Musicale Borghetto San Nicolò APS – City of Bordighera, in collaboration with the Cassini Music High School of Sanremo, with the support of the Municipality of Bordighera.

An opportunity to bring children closer to music and nature, through a story that also speaks to adults.
